Nice to meet ya!

My actual name is Eleonora Bonizzi, but friends just call me Lele. I have always been fascinated by cameras, even as a little kid. I picked up my first compact camera when I was 8, and I fell in love. After asking for a reflex for YEARS, I got my first one when I was 14. My brother, who was also a photographer at the time, taught me how to use it in manual mode. Capturing stories through that lens gave me a sense of fulfillment that I never felt before.

I don't think I ever put my camera down after that.

I'm originally from a small town in Northern Italy called Mantova, and I moved to the US by myself when I was 17 to learn English. After an exchange year in high school (where I met my current husband), I was offered a scholarship to come back to Utah for college. Originally, I decided to major in economics because I didn't think that photography could ever get me a real job. However, I soon realized that not doing what I truly loved was the stupidest decision of my life. I got very lucky because, after trying to apply to photography schools, I was given the opportunity to study remotely at UCLA for a grad certificate in cinematography and photography. I will be done with it by the end of May 2022. Meanwhile, I'm also pursuing a BFA in Art and Photography at Utah State University, and I'm loving every second of it.

My Style

I have a bit of an unpopular opinion about styles. I believe that limiting yourself to a single set of presets kills your creative side. Not only setting one specific style for your pictures can hurt your art, but I also think that it often doesn't do justice to the uniqueness of your client. Usually, I adapt my personal ideas to the client's personality, after obviously talking about it with them. Not everyone's sould can be truly represented by warm or moody shots.  I think that every photographer is unique by themselves, without having to attach a label to them.

However, I love everything colorful and earthy. But I also know that this style does not always work with the concept, so I am often inclined to adapt it to the situation.

I believe what makes me stand out is that I will give you a unique experience specifically crafted for you. I will take into consideration your taste, personality, and emotions that we will explore during the shoot. I want to get to know YOU first, and then I'll decide how to edit the pictures that you choose. Since there's no other person like you, it would not make sense to make your pictures look like everyone else's.

Of course, since this is a two-person job, my taste and feelings will also play a part in how the photos will turn out.

What I truly look for is raw, unfiltered emotions. I want to hear your story and fully capture your pure essence, making you feel like art. You're beautiful and your story matters! And, if you'll let me, I'll do my best to make real, genuine connections with you (who knows, maybe you'll make a new friend).

Fun facts about me

I have a pretty bubbly personality. I laugh a lot, and have an odd sense of humor!

While I love all kinds of photography, conceptual and narrative shoots have a very special place in my heart.

I'm an ENFP, and a Ravenclaw (and if you can't tell already, a big potterhead).

I'm addicted to spontaneous trips. Traveling is how I spend most of my money.

My zodiac's big threes are cancer sun, cancer moon, and libra rising!

I'm married to a wonderful man, his name is Ben, and we have a little puppy named Pepper! She's adorable.

When I'm not doing photoshoots, I love hiking, cooking, thrifting, and exploring.

My dream would be to move to Amsterdam. I fell in love with it 3 years ago and I can't take my mind off of it.
